Binoculars:

For hiking, Tencel pants worked great; they don’t pick up briars and nettles as jeans do. And, when they got wet, they dried quickly. Good hiking boots are a must. Otherwise, you will slip and slide.

A waterproof and windproof jacket:
Since Rwanda is a tropical African country, it can rain at any time so don’t forget to pack one
