Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our adventure Rwanda safari tour guide/driver. Who will transfer you to your pre booked accommodation in Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, you can spend the afternoon visiting some of the city’s cultural sites. Such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial sites where over 2000 buried under the same grave, take a visit also to the National Museum of Rwanda, or the Kimironko Market. Diner and an overnight stay at

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Volcanoes National Park; the park is located in the northern of Rwanda. The journey takes about 2.5 hours and you will pass through spectacular scenery along the way. In the afternoon, you can visit the nearby Musanze Caves. Or take a cultural tour to visit a local village and learn more about their traditional Rwandan life. Dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to meet your ranger guide for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations. You will then embark on a trek through the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. The time taken to meet the gorillas depends on where they last spent their night from. So trek came go from 1-6 hours so a sturdy pair of walking shoes or boots is highly recommended and once the gorillas are met, you will spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat studding their behaviors. As well as taking as many pictures and videos with them before returning to your accommodation.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking and Iby’iwacu Cultural Village

In the morning, you will again be driven by our safari guide to the park headquarters to receive short briefings about gorilla trekking. Golden monkeys are primates that reside in the Virunga regions of Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo. These monkeys are generally active than the gorilla so you will continuous follow them as they forage for food especially the delicious bamboo shoots. Like the gorillas ounce they met, you are strictly allowed 1 hour with them.
