Day 1: Transfer to kibale forest national park

Our safari tour guide/driver will meet you at your accommodation early in the morning at 7:00am gets you briefed about the safari and later will transfer you to Fort Portal/Kibale. On your way to the park view tea/ banana plantations and many rolling hill and many intresting things on the way. Arrive at the park in time for lunch then after if you have energy, visit the crater lakes region, spend the evening  there while viewing these natural wonders being waiting for you to explore, later proceed to your accommodation for overnight stay at.

Day 2: Chimp tracking and Bigodi Wetland sanctuary

This morning after a cup of tea/coffee report at Kanyanchu the park headquarter offices before 8:00am for a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with chimpanzee, after you will be assigned by the ranger guide who will take you through the forest for chimpanzee tracking which is the most interesting activity done at the park. Chimps are fabulous fun to watch when playing on fruitful trees or tree blanches.

Ounce you meet chimps you strictly allowed to stay with them for only one hour observing their behaviors as well as taking photos. Not only chimps that can be seen, more primate species will also be seen such as Black and white Columbus monkeys, L’Hoest Monkeys, Grey checked Mangabey, Red tailed monkeys, bush babies, the list is endless and bird lovers will get an opportunity to spot various species of birds among which include the yellow spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, Little green bull, green breasted pitta, the crowned eagle. Day 3: Kibale –Bwindi

After breakfast proceed to bwindi impenetrable national park the famous place for housing the rare species that’s mountain gorillas, bird species and very many incredible variety of flora. Day 4: Gorilla tracking

Wake up very early in the morning for a cup of tea/coffee and then after you will be transferred to the park headquarters before 8.00am to receive a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with gorillas. After follow the range guide to the forest to begin the activity possibly the most interesting activity done on earth.

The walking can sometimes be tough and long with some difficulties since tracking is done in the forest, you are remained to come with strong shoes or gumboots, long sleeved shirts or blouses, insect repellents, bottled water and sometimes packed lunch.

Meeting gorillas is unpredictable it can go to half or full day in the jungle searching for them so a reasonable degree of fitness is recommended. But when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, you will forget all the troubles you’ve passed through and utilize the one hour you are allowed to stay with these giants , observing their behaviours, as well as taking as many photos as you can (you are reminded that flash cameras are not allowed on a gorilla safari) not only gorillas but also expect to see other primates like chimpanzee, black and white colobus monkey, civet monkey which will entertain you during the gorilla tracking.
