Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Virunga National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be welcomed by your Tour guide for a 3 Days Gorilla Safari in Congo. Optional packed lunch from your hotel of residence in Kigali. Given a short briefing about your gorilla safari; expectations and you tour starts then. Virunga national park specifically one of the parks that host the endangered mountain gorillas. With a registered number of 8 habituated gorilla families open for gorilla trekking safaris. Get on the road through Kigali city and visit some historical places. Such as Kandt museum, genocide memorial sites, craft markets then proceed to cross Goma border to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Finally have lunch en-route, on reaching the border, visit the migration office and be handed over to the Virunga National Park Authorities for transfer to your lodge in the park.

Day 2 Gorilla tracking in Virunga national park
Early morning drive to the park headquarters after breakfast to receive short briefings from the park authorities about the whole process of mountain gorilla tracking and also gets you assigned to the ranger guide, after follow the ranger guide to the forest to begin the long lasting memorial safari activity gorilla tracking. Tracking time is unpredictable since meeting them depend on where they last seen the previous day, however tracking time may go from 1-6 hours, a reasonable degree of fitness is needed as well tracking gears since tracking involves passing through thick and muddy forest.
Meanwhile, it’s an amazing moment when you came a cross these giants, only about 900 individuals are left worldwide. And once gorillas are seen, you strictly allowed only one hour with them, other species like Golden Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Black and White colobus monkey, and giant forest hogs among others will be seen. Day 3 Transfer back to Rwanda- Kigali
After your relaxed breakfast at the lodge, set off for Kigali in Rwanda. However on your way to Kigali, you will make many stop overs to admire the amazing scenery of Rwanda’s scenery, take as many photos as you can and shopping from the local markets. Later arrive Kigali in the afternoon, from here you will continue to the airport to meet your departure flight is scheduled on this day.
