Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport

You will arrive at Kigali international airport, and from there our safari guide will get you briefed about the safari and later drive you to Rwanda/ Congo border with a scenic drive all through. He will get you finalize with the border crossing requirements and then after he will drive you to Goma town for lunch and tour around the city dinner and an overnight around on budget accommodation.

Day 2: Nyiragongo Volcano Hiking

Enjoy your breakfast, after you will be transferred to Kabit village to enjoy a great experience; however you will first shop in the grocery store round before you begin the hiking activity. With your hiking gears, you will begin the hike to the top of the volcano, the hike to the top may take you about 5-8 hours, however the hiking is rewarding with sights to a number of wildlife species including animals and birds. Admire the lava lake all evening, before retiring in the tents on the rim of the giant crater higher above the energetic lake. However, the hike up to and below Nyiragongo is demanding and commonly in hot disorders, but the path is relatively easy and not overly high. Finally Dinner at the top of the volcanoes

Day3. Depart to Rwanda.

After a hearty morning breakfast on top of the volcano, descend to kibati village, this perhaps can take about 4-5 hrs. From here embark on a drive to Gisenyi town in Rwanda and later to Kigali. If you still have time enjoy a city tour and visit interesting places before you proceed to the airport to meet your departure flight back home if scheduled on this day.
