Day 1: Arrival and Half day Kampala City tour
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, our safari guide will be waiting for you to transfer you to your booked accommodation in Kampala Uganda’s capital and largest city. however if you arrive in time in Kampala, you will explore the Kampala city and visit some of the interesting places around, including the Kasubi Tombs the burial place of over 4 kings of Buganda, Buganda kingdom to get more information about the origin and history of Buganda, visit the Namirembe and Rubaga cathedral, one of the biggest Christian churches in Africa. Both churches offer a magnificent view of Kampala city, if time allows you will visit Namugongo shrine where over 22 Uganda martyrs where killed for failure to renounce their faith. Day 2: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
You will be picked up by our safari guide from the hotel/ lodge at 8:00am after breakfast and then driven to fort portal in the south western part of Uganda, passing through stunning sceneries of lush homesteads, tea plantation and farms of the beautiful rural country side of Uganda. This scenic drive takes approximately 5 to 6 hours arriving in the afternoon. You will have lunch en-route in Fort portal town before driving to your booked accommodation where you will stay prior to your chimpanzee tracking the nest day. Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk
Wake up early for breakfast to give you energy for chimp tracking, and after you will report to the ranger station in kibale forest national park at 8:00am to receive short briefings about chimp tracking and also gets you assigned to the ranger guide to track the habituated chimps. After, follow the ranger guide to the forest to start the activity.
Chimps are more closely related to humans than to any other living creature on earth; they are tremendous fun to watch when jumping from tree to tree. the time taken in search of these creatures is unpredictable, however it can go from 1-6 hours as meeting them depends on where they spent their last night from ounce they are met only one hour is strictly allowed with them while studding their behaviors as well as taking photography.
Others species of primates can also be seen in the process of chimp tracking including red colobus monkey, the rare L’Hoest, blue monkey, grey mangabey, pottos, baboons, bush babies, yellow-billed barbets, Narina Trogon among many others plus various species of birds , mammals and butterflies. After the activity, go back to the lodge for lunch, after lunch, you will go for a guided walk in Bigodi swamp to look for different species of birds like the shinning blue kingfisher among others and more species of primates . Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park game drive
Following a hearty breakfast, will be a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park one of the top most visited Uganda national park inhabited with a wide variety of incredible creatures. We will enter the park via the northern crater area. Queen Elizabeth national park boasts one of the highest bio diversity rating of any game park in the world from the open savannah to rain forest, dense swamps and beautiful cater lakes . You will arrive in time for lunch and then in the evening go for a game drive for an opportunity to see many species of animals that rush to their hide-outs. Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and launch cruise
After breakfast at the lodge, leave for kyambura gorge at 8:00am for chimp tracking after a short briefing from the park warden. The chimpanzee and bonobo are humans’ closest living relatives, they are tremendous fun to watch when jumping from tree to tree. the time taken in search of these creatures is unpredictable, however it can go from 1-6 hours as meeting them depends on where they last spent their night. ounce they are met only one hour is strictly allowed with them while studding their behaviors as well as taking photography.

Day 6: Depart for Bwindi Gorilla National Park
Wake up early for a relatively early breakfast and then after, depart to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to the few remaining mountain gorillas in the world, with a wide variety of bird life and primates over 348 species of birds are recorded in the area and it supports 24 of 26 Albertine rift endemics. Depending on the nature of the road, we will pass via the famous part of the park famously known as the Ishasha sector known for housing the rare tree climbing lions, try to search them they are so interesting to spot sited in on fig trees or tree blanches. Day7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park
An early morning breakfast is followed with a transfer to the park headquarters to receive a short briefing from the park wardens about the whole process of mountain gorilla tracking and also gets you allocated to the gorilla family and the ranger guide. From here the guide will take you through the bush to begin the most breathtaking safari activity at the park gorilla tracking. The trek will take you through thick and muddy forest with steep slopes, so a reasonable degree of physical fitness is needed and you should don’t forget tracking gears like study pair of walking shoes/boots, long sleeved shirts or blouses. tracking time is unpredictable it can go from a half to full day while searching these giants, as meeting them depends on where they spent their night before. Day 9: Mountain Gorilla Tracking (volcanoes national park)
After breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to receive short briefings by the park wardens/ senior ranger guide and also gets you allocated to the gorilla family in respect to client’s physical abilities. After briefing, the ranger guide will transfer you to the starting point to begin the search of our close cousins who shares almost 97% human genes. This is a breathtaking experience on should not love to miss in the life time. Gorilla tracking time is unpredictable as the time to meet these giants depends on where they last seen the previous day, so a reasonable degree of fitness is needed as well tracking gears like strong pairs of walking shoes/boots It’s a breathtaking moment to sit among the gorillas listening to them grumble to each other.
