Mubare Family:

This is the oldest gorilla family in the park, consisting of 9 members, including one silverback.

Habinyanja Family:

Rushegura Family:

This family has 19 members, including one silverback. It is one of the most peaceful and gentle families in the park.

Bitukura Family:

This family has 14 members, including four silverbacks. It is one of the most organized families in the park.

Oruzogo Family:

This family has 25 members, including two silverbacks. The family known for its energetic juveniles.

Nkuringo Family:

This family has 12 members, including two silverbacks. known for having some of the largest gorillas in the park.

Bweza Family:

Kahungye Family:

Nshongi Family:

This family has 25 members, including three silverbacks. It is the largest family in the park and was named after the river where it was first sighted.
